Caregivers need to take the time to care for themselves. You are a caregiver if you help a loved one with grocery shopping, house cleaning, shopping or meals, paying bills, administering medications, bathing or dressing or bathroom assistance. If you care for someone with dementia or someone with disabilities, check in daily on elderly parents or friends, or are raising your grandchildren, you deserve a day dedicated to honor you and this event is for you! Join us for the 4th Annual Carepartner Celebration on Sat., Nov. 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 at Celebrate Family in Church in Leicester, NY (formerly Peter’s Party House).
Keynote speaker Sylvia Mackey will present “New Beginnings.” Sylvia is wife and caregiver to John Mackey (former NFL football player for the Baltimore Colts). Over 35 area Caregiver Service Vendors will be present to answer your questions and provide resources. There will be door prizes, medication drop off, and a complimentary spaghetti lunch for all carepartners! To reserve your spot, contact the Caregiver Resource Center to register: 335-4358 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
