The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming is a private, not-for-profit organization providing services to developmentally disabled individuals and their families in the Western New York counties of Livingston and Wyoming. Through its residential, vocational rehabilitation, children's services, transportation, and community services programs, the agency helps to enhance the lives of more than 800 community members who rely on services each year. With the amount of individuals the Arc serves, volunteers are vital parts of the agency. The Arc depends on the volunteers' kind hearts and dedication; for without them, less services would be provided and less individuals would be helped. The Arc of Livingston-Wyoming's wish is to have more people volunteer their time to help us help others. Even if it's only a one-time deal, or just an hour a month, every little bit makes a big difference in someone's life.

First we would like to thank our supporters for their donations and faith in our rescue mission, saving these unwanted, neglected, abused and slaughter bound equines. In order to continue helping these horses we need to move forward and grow. There are many things we need to do this and this is a start. Our Horse Rescue is desperately seeking someone willing to donate an ATV 4x4 (or side by side). It can be a tractor or other equipment that can handle the same job(s) equally as well. It should be strong enough to pull a load up to 700 lbs. It will be used with a cart/wagon/dumpcart (also needed) to remove waste/manure from stalls/grounds as well as removing overgrow brush/debris and other ongoing projects around the grounds so we can expand. It doesn't have to be eye appealing but needs to be mechanically sound and functional. Today, everything is being done manually and it is getting harder and harder to keep up with needs of the rescue. We need to be more effective and efficient with our time and energy, not to mention the back breaking labor that it takes to get the work done daily. We are also working on $$ donations and any contributions are greatly appreciated. If we are fortunate to have an ATV/tractor donated, then the $$ will be used for one of the other highly needed projects we have coming up, as well as for supplies needed for the day to day operations of the rescue and care of the horses. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Organization. All donations are tax deductable. Visit our webpage: http://www.tendermercyrescue.com/.
