Customer Service?

Submitted by a Reader:

Called a major car dealership and requested to speak to the General Manager. He was in a meeting. That’s ok. But the receptionist asked me to e-mail her my name and number so she could pass it on to him. Have we gotten this lazy that we can’t take down a simple message of who called and what number we can be reached? Wow!

  1. e-mail is better and it gives you direct contact with the manager also you can be sure that your number was typed in correctly since you sent the message yourself — perhaps it’s not lazy and just helping you so that you can confirm that the message was actually sent since you are the one sending it… just sayin’ :o)
