We are a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that manages before
and after school programs for children ages 5 (kindergarten) to 12
years (6th grade). Volunteers needed to help children with their homework from 3:45 to 5pm. Days can be flexible from Monday-Friday. Opportunities available in Clifton Springs, Canandaigua and Gorham, NY. This is a great opportunity for retired teachers that want to help children.

Volunteers needed for direct resident care, office work, fundraising,
grounds keeping and cleaning and organizing. We are always
looking for bakers as well. There is nothing better than a nice warm
plate of cookies or brownies! Crossroads House is an alternative to a hospital or nursing home stay when care can no longer be provided in a patient’s own home. It is a comfort care home serving Genesee and Wyoming counties, with the staff and trained volunteers providing care to those who have been medically determined to be in the last three months of their lives. Volunteering here allows you to put love into action. It opens hearts and fosters understanding, compassion and cooperation among individuals. Wesley Gardens Nursing Home is looking for dedicated and
outgoing volunteers to meet a variety of recreation needs for the
residents that live here. From BINGO to personal visits and
everything in between. A short written application and background
check are required. Hours for volunteers are flexible and can
include weekends and evenings if desired.
