Who Can Volunteer…

FISH (Friends In Service Here)/
RHAFT (Rush-Henrietta Area Foot Terminal)
(585) 453-2370
Volunteers needed who have a day or a few hours each month to deliver food or drive someone to a medical appointment or take telephone calls for ride requests. The RHAFT/FISH organization is in need of additional volunteers to keep up with the increased requests for help. FISH is committed to helping Senior Citizens and those unable to drive by providing transportation to essential medical appointments. The all-volunteer nonprofit organization is a mission of the Rush-Henrietta Interfaith League, and a member of Lifespan’s volunteer Transportation Consortium. Phone Dispatchers work out of their homes taking requests from the answering service and arrange for rides from volunteer drivers. The Food Cupboard (RHAFT) also needs driver/packers, and verifiers. There are many opportunities for volunteers. Donations of food and money are always welcomed. FISH has been serving the community for 45 years and RHAFT for 35 years.
