Angels of Mercy’s Board Members Receive Awards

Angels of Mercy Board Member, Geri Spino of Greece received the Women of Distinction Award from the New York State Senate. Geri was nominated by Joseph Robach. She is President and Founder of the Scott Spino Foundation, which is dedicated to literacy in the community.

Angels of Mercy Vice President, Josephine Gangarossa of Webster was awarded the Italian American Community Center’s Women of the Year Award for Civic Affairs/Government on May 22nd as part of the 17th Annual Women of the Year Awards Dinner.

Angels of Mercy Founder and President, Mary Jo Gugino-Colligan of Irondequoit was named Woman of the Year by the Rochester Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Jen Gugino, Mary Jo Gugino-Colligan and Mary Jo Provenzano are past recipients of the IACC Woman of the Year Award, also.

Angels of Mercy is a non-profit organization committed to aiding women and girls in need by bringing hope to the hurting, and transforming lives. Angels of Mercy’s focus is helping women to achieve freedom, dignity, and restoration.
