How Lindsey Adams Helped Haiti:
I helped by selling bracelets at basketball games and going
around the neighborhood for $1 per bracelet. I collected
over $100. With this money I bought shampoo, Band-Aids,
combs, toys, bar soap, tissues, nail clippers, hand towels,
toothbrushes and toothpaste. All of this was taken to a Churc
in Livonia and we made up over 100 bags of supplies for families
in Haiti. That is how I helped Haiti. This made me feel really good
inside. Lindsey Adams Livonia Primary, 3rd Grade |

How Bobby Beck Helped Haiti:
Bobby Beck, a 2nd Grade
student at Jefferson Avenue
Elementary School, presents the
$154 from his "Donations for the
Poor" box at the Pedestal Gift
Gallery in Pittsford's Northfield
Common. Bobby is the son of the
store owner Calli Beck. Receiving
the donation on behalf of Friends
of the Orphans-Haiti Initiative is
Marcia Mendola. Marcia's
grandson, Xavier, hands Bobby
1/3 cup of rice representing a
staple food that desperate
Haitians will receive because of
caring people like Bobby. |
