In December, I gave two different neighbors rides to pick up their cars both at dealerships for recalls. Their experiences could not have been different.

The first vehicle was in for an emission update due to recent litigation. The service manager was arrogant and accused the government of needlessly creating the problem. The work was not completed and my neighbor was charged $150.00 for diagnostics and was quoted $2400.00 to fix the vehicle so the recall could be completed.

The second vehicle needed a new air bag and was at Hoselton Chevrolet. The service personnel were courteous, and the work was finished two hours ahead of time with no charge.
