Far too many chain restaurants are forgetting about good customer service, i.e. good wait staff etiquette, and worrying about profit over customers. If you've ever learned economics in school, when they used to actually teach basic life skills as part of the regular curriculum, you would have learned that without customers to serve, you have no money, and no profit is made at all. Maybe this is one reason why so many restaurants and businesses are going under. The added costs to do any kind of business in New York State are outrageous! Add to this the lack of any customer service, and it would equal disaster and fewer jobs. Minimum wage goes up; then all prices go up, so no one gains anything in the end. Having no state income tax would help.
