For a Christmas present last year, we received a gift card from popular restaurant/bar in [local town]. Shortly thereafter, they closed for renovations. We anxiously awaited their reopening. Finally, we were able to stop for lunch. The new owner refused to accept our gift card. We were not aware it was under new management. We do know Sherry would have done anything to retain us as a customer. Sadly, we will not darken the doorway of this establishment again. Hope the new owner brings all new clientele; he will need them if he is to remain in business.
