To the person who wrote that wishing others a "Happy Holiday" is insincere: There are a handful of holidays in December, some that are far older than Christmas. To insist on wishing one and all a "Merry Christmas" is insensitive and disrespectful. It's becomes all about you. Wishing others a "Happy Holiday" indicates a generosity of spirit and an enlightened mind. It is an acknowledgement that other's holidays are just as important to them as Christmas is to you. It is no more and no less valid than any other. Further, treating everyone equally does not indicate an attack on Christmas. Whatever holiday you are celebrating, I wish you a happy and safe one.
