It Takes a Chamber to Celebrate
Multiple Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce members contribute each year to the success of our Fairport 4th of July celebration. Thank you to LNB, Town of Perinton, Village of Fairport, Fairport OCED, Wegmans and the Chamber Board and its members for helping our community come together on this important day in our nation’s history!
The event always begins with the firecracker 4 Mile Race, coordinated by Fleet Feet. Next comes the parade, stretching through the Village from Whitney to Perinton Park. This year, 42 entries marched and rode on floats. The party-in-the-park was enjoyed with beverages provided by Chamber member Fairport Brewing Company. Food was provided by the Lions Club, dippin’ dots, doc popcorn, & Macarollin. The sounds by the Skycoasters are also a local tradition on this festive day.
Chamber President Jim Bilotta, Fairport’s LNB Branch Manager stated, “We appreciate all of the parade on-lookers, too. The faithful attendees add to the fun atmosphere we all work to create for everyone’s enjoyment. On to planning for 2020!”
The many events of the Fairport 4th of July celebration can always be referenced on the Chamber website at https://fairportperintonchamber.org/. ABOUT FAIRPORT-PERINTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce serves businesses well beyond Fairport Village, into Perinton, Bushnell’s Basin and Egypt. The Chamber exists to help mature and new businesses succeed in the marketplace of today’s fast-paced world. The main strategy is to connect member and business acquaintances within these greater business communities. This is accomplished through the hosting of monthly networking events, annual events, and by providing communication channels to share member news. The Chamber also provides educational opportunities for business development, to boost the skill set of attendees, assisting them on their paths to efficiently and cost-effectively achieve business goals. All of these experiences are coordinated through the Chamber’s Board, staffed by community volunteers. Investigate joining the Fairport-Perinton Chamber by visiting:
