Kerry was born July 3rd, 1957 in Dansville the son of Donald and Dolores "Dee" (Levey) Pebbles. Kerry grew up and has remained life resident of the Wayland area. Kerry loved to socialize with all especially at the campground and as of late play computer games. Kerry and Cathi Feeley were married August 13, 1987 and together have celebrated over 34 years of marriage.
However Kerry's legacy was his willingness to give to and help others. He dedicated his entire life to police work and law enforcement. Kerry's compassion and kindness was reflected in his work and his willingness to treat everyone with respect and dignity and yet still get the job done. Kerry worked for many different police organizations throughout the local area including; Dansville PD, Bath PD, Steuben County Sheriff's Department, and was a past chief of both Wayland and Cohocton Police Departments. He had trained with the FBI and DEA and was an investigator for United Refinery in Erie, PA for many years; worked at WCCS assisting with student discipline and he was also a Wayland Village Justice. He was a past member of the Wayland Lions Club, the Wayland Town Board and current member of the Cohocton Legion, the Association of Police Chiefs, Sons of American Legion and the Dansville Moose Club.
Kerry wore many hats! He was a mentor to many and always would give, give and give more with expectations of nothing in return. Next to the word "humble" in the dictionary, you will find Kerry D. Pebbles.
