Thank you with all my heart to Habitat for Humanity of Livingston County. Thanks to them with the support of many volunteers and my family, my children and I are safely and happily moved into our new home. A special thanks and extra well wishes to John Marks, Butch Erbe and Ron Walker as they "retire" from Habitat. I am so thankful for all you have done and for the chance to get to know yo…

I just wanted to give a huge Thank You to the Angel that turned in my purse from the Batavia Tops parking lot on November 2nd. Especially in the age of COVID and with people hurting during the holidays, I'm very, very grateful! Thank you!

A shout out to our wonderfully talented graphics department here at Genesee Valley Penny Saver. While "essential," they, for the most part, have been working remotely and haven't missed a beat! Churning out incredible advertising, graphic layouts for our printing and promotional product customers and always with a "can do" attitude. Our team is dedicated to helping our customers reach thei…

Recently, my 85-year-old wife went to [local business]. In a rainy downpour, she tried to park between two cars, one of which was not quite straight. She scraped the fender of the car. No one was around, so she went shopping. When she came out, some lady said, “I saw you. I saw you hit that car.” Out came [local business] security and a policeman. They exchanged licenses and insurance card…

We are so appreciative of the Covid-19 relief efforts, including relief for renters and increased unemployment benefits. My partner lost his job at the beginning of the pandemic, and we were able to survive for long enough for him to find a decent job! Let's see more of this - it stimulates the economy and helps your constituents. We wouldn't mind some relief on healthcare costs, and we st…

I had great difficulty locating a medical facility in Geneseo. Staff at a different facility tried to assist me but their directions were not complete enough. As a last resort I approached the Pharmacy Dept. at Geneseo Wegmans. A woman there was gracious enough to attempt to help me but could not access the information needed on her computer. She arranged for me to be seated in the consult…

Sincerest apology to "Trick or Treaters" that stopped at my house in Mumford. I forgot to close the door since I was not prepared. You were very nice and a real joy to see. Thank you for being of good cheer!

I want to thank all the election workers in Caledonia on 11/3/20 for their help in getting through the system quickly because I had had spinal surgery the week before. Although my husband and I had tried to vote early, those lines were too long. You workers in Caledonia were kind and most helpful, as is my husband, Morris! Thank you!

To those of you who play parking lot Tic Tac Toe: I used to be a player, until I almost t-boned a car while passing through two parked cars which blocked my view. This is driving on the diagonal to obtain the best vantage point near the store entrance. I see this especially at [local stores]…

To those maintenance people in parking lots that chase people down who feed the starving seagulls: Seagulls are scavengers – they actually clean up garbage from parking lots and the environment. I always pick a remote corner to feed them. After they eat bread, Tostitos, and popcorn, there is…

A huge "Thank You" to the vandals who have destroyed over a dozen Pickleball paddles that were in our "Honor Box" at the Pickleball Complex in [local town]. These same individuals also broke into another box that had a portable net for an additional court and stole it. They then threw pickle…

Working Election Day is something I'd never do again. Not only did we work from 5AM - 10PM, we were not allowed to leave the building. Not one person from the Town Board, or any other Town Authority Figure, came by and asked us if we needed anything, not coffee or maybe some water perhaps. H…
